How to Master the Art of Persuasion in the Travel Industry
Wouldn’t it be great if it could be as simple as folding your arms, squinting your face and stamping your feet to get what you
5-Star, First Class, villa by the ocean or president’s suite in the heart of the city – this is how you prefer to travel. Backpack? Huh? Never. You can barely work out how to travel with all 8 pairs of must-have shoes, never mind trying to fit everything into a carryon. In fact, you are the travel style that is most likely to get dinged with excess baggage fees. But you are also the most likely to use your charms to get out of extra fees should they appear.
The word “no” is not really in your vocabulary as it pertains to you. Where there is a will, there is a way. That’s how you like to look at life. You are successful because you are so resourceful. You believe in the power of abundance – that there is more than enough to go around in the world and that nothing is finite. The more you put out in the universe, the more others will thrive so really…your excessive spending is just you doing your part to save the world. Plus, you are also a firm believer in the adage, “You get what you pay for.” Quality comes at a price and it’s one that you are willing to pay.
You are a gregarious extrovert and a lover of life. Your travel style is such that you prefer to have things planned out. The mere word “spontaneity” conjures up a bead of sweat across your brow. You are also most likely to have a three-tabbed excel spreadsheet with arrival and departure times colour coded and chronologically placed. Leaving nothing to chance is how you prefer things.

Hi there,
I’m Diane Molzan, founder of the Digital Travel Academy
I’m a traveller just like you. My travel style is Allocentric but truthfully, I’m probably a mix of all of the travel styles – depending on the moon, the tides and whatever hormonal shifts are going on with me at the moment.
I started the Digital Travel Academy to show other travellers how they can build a career out of doing what they love most – travelling. I’ll be sharing all my insider tricks and tips. And if I come across a great industry deal, I’ll give you the scoop on that too.
So be sure to stay subscribed.
In the meantime, I am building a course that offers a step-by-step guide that will show you how to start your own travel business and make good money at it. More details on that to follow but for now, let’s keep in touch.
You can drop me a line any time at diane@digitialtravelacademy.com. I love connecting with fellow travellers.
Until next time, safe travels!
Diane
