When to Pivot vs. Pull the Plug – The Truth About Quitting
Pain is temporary. Quitting lasts forever Lance Armstrong It’s always too early to quit. Norman Vincent Peale If you quit once, it becomes a habit.
Your fav reading material would be a toss-up between Elizabeth Gilbert’s “Eat, Pray, Love” and Paulo Coelho’s “The Alchemist”. For you, travel is less about the destination and more about the experiences you have had en route. You are a free spirit and an easy-going traveller because you know that there are no mistakes. If you miss a plane, you accept that the universe meant it to be so and appreciate that a better adventure awaits you around the corner.
You genuinely take care of yourself, are most likely to be vegan and let’s just say, if someone is going to get caught with a few grams of herb needing to be bailed out of a Bangkok prison, it might be you. You typically think rules are meant for others but will comply if it makes sense to you to do so. You’ve dabbled in Eastern philosophy and are the most likely amongst your peers to raise your hand to try Gestalt therapy.
You are comfortable in your own company and like the Allocentric, you don’t mind travelling solo. You’ll make friends easily while abroad but as a solo traveller, you love that you are not tied to any one soul. You love the freedom to move when you want to move and linger for as long as you need. You are also likely a creative spirit and will do well as either a writer or an artist – you are typically not motivated by money as long as you have enough to get you a place to sleep.

Hi there,
I’m Diane Molzan, founder of the Digital Travel Academy
I’m a traveller just like you. My travel style is Allocentric but truthfully, I’m probably a mix of all of the travel styles – depending on the moon, the tides and whatever hormonal shifts are going on with me at the moment.
I started the Digital Travel Academy to show other travellers how they can build a career out of doing what they love most – travelling. I’ll be sharing all my insider tricks and tips. And if I come across a great industry deal, I’ll give you the scoop on that too.
So be sure to stay subscribed.
In the meantime, I am building a course that offers a step-by-step guide that will show you how to start your own travel business and make good money at it. More details on that to follow but for now, let’s keep in touch.
You can drop me a line any time at diane@digitialtravelacademy.com. I love connecting with fellow travellers.
Until next time, safe travels!
Diane
