It’s a Plan, Stan – Time Management Strategies for the Busy Travel Professional
I have this new friend in my life who teasingly refers to me as Type A. If I’m being honest, I’ve been a little bit
Penny Pinchers get a bad rap sometimes but really, it’s just because you want to experience and see as much as you can with what you have. You will always try and score the best deal. You are the one working out which currency exchange is giving the best rate even if it means you have to walk well across town to save a buck.
You spend hours researching every piece of your upcoming adventure online, signing up for various online booking companies to save a few dollars. You pore over pages of Tripadvisor reviews trying to discern the best value for your buck. You have haggling in a market down to a science yet you are also the most likely to walk away from a deal that you really wanted solely because your ego wouldn’t part with the extra 50 cents. (Doh)
A recommended travel read for you would be “The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity: A Simple Guide to Unlimited Abundance” by Edwene Gaines. It’s not specifically a travel read per se but it will help you get the most out of your next trip abroad. It will teach you the universal truth that the more you put out into the universe, the more fortune is attracted into your life. You will probably get along quite well with the Soul Searcher come to think of it. The great thing is that you do accomplish a lot when travelling. You aren’t one to laze around a pool all day when there are sites to be seen, people to meet, songs to sing. Your go, go, go attitude will also serve you well in all your life’s ventures.
The Penny Pincher will be a good travel match for the Soul Searcher and the Allocentric
Hi there,
I’m Diane Molzan, founder of the Digital Travel Academy
I’m a traveller just like you. My travel style is Allocentric but truthfully, I’m probably a mix of all of the travel styles – depending on the moon, the tides and whatever hormonal shifts are going on with me at the moment.
I started the Digital Travel Academy to show other travellers how they can build a career out of doing what they love most – travelling. I’ll be sharing all my insider tricks and tips. And if I come across a great industry deal, I’ll give you the scoop on that too.
So be sure to stay subscribed.
In the meantime, I am building a course that offers a step-by-step guide that will show you how to start your own travel business and make good money at it. More details on that to follow but for now, let’s keep in touch.
You can drop me a line any time at diane@digitialtravelacademy.com. I love connecting with fellow travellers.
Until next time, safe travels!
Diane

Anyone who has been a travel agent for any amount of time….say they started a hot minute ago, will have heard the following phrase at
Ahhhh, the life of an influencer. Hanging out at Coachella, sipping Moet & Chandon Rosé on a yacht off the Mediterranean coast, private jets, Gucci,
Human beings have always been cautious social animals. “To boldly go where no man has gone before,” might be a catchy tagline for the Starship
“I was wondering if I might be able to get a Venti for the price of a Grande?” I asked. “Ummmm, no.” was the attitude-ladened
I must confess, before I had children, I don’t recall reading a lot of Dr. Seuss. Sure, every Christmas, I’d dress up in my red
I’m looking forward to staying connected with you. Please keep an eye out for periodic updates and special offers.
